Josh began his career in commercial real estate in 2011 working as a Property Manager for Lincoln Center Property Management. He was tasked with overseeing more than 1 million square feet of retail, office, and industrial property and managed over two hundred tenants throughout the state of Maine. Josh became a licensed real estate agent in 2014 where he worked at NAI the Dunham Group and Compass Commercial Brokers, before launching Maine Realty Advisors in 2017.
Josh has helped put together transactions of all sizes, from selling a $17.5m shopping center in Falmouth to leasing a 500 square foot office space in Gardiner. He specializes in the Portland Market and has brokered some of the highest profile transactions in the City. Since 2014, Josh has completed both sales and leases in excess of $60m, consisting of nearly 750,000 square feet.
A Maine native, Josh attended Freeport High School, where he played every sport he could get his hands on, basketball, soccer, tennis, baseball, lacrosse, and ultimate frisbee. In his rarely found spare time, Josh volunteers at the Preble Street Resource Center Soup Kitchen, coaches basketball at Waynflete Academy, and enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and his pets. He aspires to be a proficient guitar player and Arabic speaker.
John began his real estate career in 1990 with Sotheby’s International Realty in New York City. Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, John sold high-end residential homes and specialized in ocean front estates in the Hamptons. He has since expanded his focus into commercial real estate and has sold hotels, industrial parks, and class-A office buildings.
John founded the John Golden Group in 2007 to service his Maine based clientele before joining MRA at the beginning of 2018. John continues his work in Manhattan with Douglass Elliman, but is now engaged primarily in the Portland Metropolitan Area. His notable sales in Maine include 125 Industrial Parkway, The Danforth Inn, and most recently 255 Oxford Street.

Dan Soley began his career in real estate managing over 500,000 square feet of commercial property for his family’s company at 22 years old. Dan worked with office, residential, industrial, and retail tenants and specialized in the building’s facilities. Dan brings an expertise in creative, modern and efficient systems to maintain properties at low costs. Dan has experience with personal developments as well, including owning and developing high end condominium lofts, restaurants, residential and industrial projects throughout Portland and surrounding areas.
Outside of property management and renovation, Dan enjoys spending time at his property on Highland Lake with his wife and child, travels regularly to the Middle East, and is involved in the Bayside Neighborhood Community.
Brianna Stark recently graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Marketing and Sustainability. Brianna held a corporate internship throughout college at U-Haul International in digital marketing. From Arizona, Brianna went on to work remotely as an Email Marketing Specialist at U-Haul International while traveling through Australia and Asia. In her free time, Brianna enjoys anything outdoors, traveling and art.
Senior Property Manager
Cole began his construction career in 2016 as a Project Administrator for Great Falls Construction. Cole oversaw projects such as Sebago Brewing Company’s new brewery and headquarters, the new South Portland Municipal Services Facility, Westbrook Public Works Facility, and several others.
Cole graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in General Management and Entrepreneurship. He was also a 2-year captain of the USM Huskies. In his free time Cole owns and operates his own videography and photography company, LIBBY360, and enjoys working on his 2-unit and spending time with his fiance, family, friends, and pets.
Frank joins Maine Realty Advisors as a newly reminted sales agent. He has held this license before in Illinois and Maine, but primarily for showing and leasing tenant spaces within properties he was managing. Frank will be expanding his skillset on the brokerage side and augmenting an already talented team at Maine Realty Advisors.
Frank’s impressive resume of real estate experience includes overseeing the management of buildings in downtown and suburban Chicago, as well as developing and constructing million square foot buildings, various hotels, as well as apartment projects. He understands the importance of business relationships, and demonstrates this understanding when he helps clients tackle unique design and business problems. Frank draws on his professional experience to quickly find workable solutions that align interests for everyone involved in the built environment.
As an Owner’s Representative, Frank has coordinated all aspects of site acquisition, programming, and needs analyses with owners, business units and tenants ensuring smooth tenant fit out transitions to rentable leased up spaces. Frank’s development experience includes commercial office buildings, hotels, and multifamily residential buildings. He leveraged his Chicago experience with Hines Interests building ABN AMRO, NA’s (now Bank of America) marquee downtown office, data center, and check processing facility into multiple real estate development projects in New England.
Working with a local hotel development company, The Olympia Companies in New England, Frank worked with teams developing 50 Sewall St in Portland, Custom House Square Office Buildings in Portland, the Hampton Inns in North Conway and South Portland, the Hilton Garden Inn in Portsmouth, and the Holiday Inns in Portsmouth and Bangor. Recently, he coordinated the apartments at The Clark on Pleasant in Portland, and he is currently working on the Notre Dame on Cutts apartments in Saco.
Frank holds an undergraduate degree in General Engineering Sciences from the United States Naval Academy. In Pensacola, FL he pinned on gold wings as a naval aviator and flew helicopter missions in the Persian Gulf and Central American littorals. After leaving the service, he earned an MBA from the University of Michigan.
Obi joined MRA in July of 2018 with a background in finance and economics and a passion for belly-rubs and ear-scratching. Immediately after earning his PhD from Yale and MBA from Harvard, Obi went on to run one of the largest hedge funds in New England. Based in the North East, Obi successfully ran a team of more than 2,000 investment managers and maintained an annual growth rate of more than 115% consistently over 20 years. Giving up the fast paced New York lifestyle, Obi moved to Maine to raise a family and focus on the expansion of Maine Realty Advisors and to oversee their dog food department.
